The Galaxy S8 Active is a bit better than Huawei P30, having a global score of 81.9 against 81.7. Although it's the best in this review, the Galaxy S8 Active is an older, notably heavier and thicker phone than Huawei P30. Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has a bit sharper screen than Huawei P30, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better pixels number in each inch of display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels.
Samsung Galaxy S8 Active has just a bit bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P30, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB. Huawei P30 features a little better processing power than Galaxy S8 Active, and although they both have 8 cores, the Huawei P30 also has more RAM memory.
Huawei P30 captures better videos and photos than Galaxy S8 Active, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei P30 also counts with a much larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a lot better resolution camera in the back.
