The Huawei P30 has an overall score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than Xperia Z5's general score of 77.6. Although the Huawei P30 is way newer than the Xperia Z5, it's just a bit thicker and just a bit heavier. These phones have Android OS, but Huawei P30 has a newer 10 version while Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, so it gives some nice extra features and performance improvements.
Huawei P30 features just a bit better processing power than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P30 also counts with 3 GB more RAM. The Sony Xperia Z5 features a brighter screen than Huawei P30, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per screen inch.
Huawei P30 counts with a bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Xperia Z5, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. The Huawei P30 features a superior camera than Xperia Z5, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, a same size camera aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Huawei P30 also has a camera in the back with a lot better 40 megapixels resolution and a much bigger sensor taking way higher quality videos and photographs.
The Huawei P30 features superior battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has a 3650mAh battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
Huawei P30 is more expensive than the Xperia Z5, but you can get a better phone for that few more dollars.
