Comparison review
Huawei P30 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, getting a score of 81.7 against 76.6. Both phones in our current comparison work with the same Android 10 OS (operating system). Huawei P30 is an older cellphone than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but Huawei was able to build it lighter and thinner.
Huawei P30 features just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P30 also has 3 GB more RAM. The Huawei P30 features a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, the Huawei P30 also counts with a little bit greater pixel density.
Huawei P30 has slightly more memory for applications and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB more internal memory capacity. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a very superior battery performance than Huawei P30, because it has a 38% larger battery size.
The Huawei P30 features a bit better camera than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a lesser megapixels back facing camera, and they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Huawei P30 also counts with a larger sensor providing a higher image quality and a lot better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Huawei P30, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up some features and specs.
