Comparison review
The Huawei P30 has a global score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's 81.1 overall score. The Huawei P30 is an older device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, but it is thinner and noticeably lighter anyway. These phones come with the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding operating system features.
The Huawei P30 has a bit better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher pixels amount per inch in the display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei P30, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Huawei P30 has just a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. They have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro shoots a bit better videos and photos than Huawei P30, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for taking photos and videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, a same size back camera sensor and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a back facing camera with much more megapixels.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a much better battery life than Huawei P30, because it has a 5020mAh battery size against 3650mAh.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. If you want to save some money, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
