Comparison review
The Huawei P40 lite 5G is a bit better than Huawei Mate 20 lite, having an 83.4 score against 76.2. The Huawei P40 lite 5G construction is newer than the Huawei Mate 20 lite's, but it's thicker and a bit heavier. Both phones we compare here use Android operating system, but Huawei P40 lite 5G has the older 10 version and Huawei Mate 20 lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version.
Huawei Mate 20 lite counts with a screen that is very similar to the Huawei P40 lite 5G one, because although the Huawei Mate 20 lite has a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little better display pixel density. Huawei Mate 20 lite features a quite bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40 lite 5G, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 512 GB. Huawei P40 lite 5G counts with just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei Mate 20 lite, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The Huawei P40 lite 5G shoots better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 20 lite, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also has a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels and a much higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
