Huawei P40 lite 5G is a bit better than Huawei Mate 8, getting an 83.4 score against 77.4. The Huawei P40 lite 5G design is much newer than Huawei Mate 8's, although it is just a little bit thicker and a little heavier. Huawei P40 lite 5G counts with a bit better performance than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Huawei P40 lite 5G counts with just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a just a bit greater pixel count in each inch of display, a little larger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2400 resolution. Huawei Mate 8 counts with a much greater storage to store more games and applications than Huawei P40 lite 5G, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
Huawei Mate 8's battery lifetime is just as good as Huawei P40 lite 5G's battery duration.
