Comparison review
Huawei P40 lite 5G is a bit better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, with a score of 83.4 against 78.7. These devices work with Android operating system, but the Huawei P40 lite 5G has an older 10 version while Huawei Mate 9 Pro has Android 8.0 Oreo. Although Huawei P40 lite 5G is a lot newer than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, it is somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro's processing unit is just as good as the CPU in Huawei P40 lite 5G, both of them have a 6 GB RAM memory and 8 cores. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a little sharper screen than Huawei P40 lite 5G, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display pixel density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
Huawei P40 lite 5G and Huawei Mate 9 Pro have quite similar memory to store more games and applications, both of them have exactly the same internal storage. The Huawei P40 lite 5G takes better videos and photos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also has a camera with a much higher resolution and a larger camera aperture.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro's battery performance is just as good as the Huawei P40 lite 5G one.
