Comparison review
Huawei P40 lite 5G is slightly better than Huawei nova 9 Pro, getting a general score of 83.4 against 79.3. Although it's the best in our current comparison, it must be told that it's also an older, just a little heavier and just a little bit thicker cellphone. The Huawei P40 lite 5G works with Android 10 OS, and Huawei nova 9 Pro counts with HarmonyOS 2 OS.
Huawei nova 9 Pro has a little bit better looking screen than Huawei P40 lite 5G, because it has a little larger screen, a slightly higher resolution of 1236 x 2676 pixels and a little greater pixels amount per display inch. Huawei nova 9 Pro has just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P40 lite 5G, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei nova 9 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Huawei P40 lite 5G counts with a superior camera than Huawei nova 9 Pro, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also has a way higher 64 mega pixels resolution back camera and a larger diafragm aperture for better low light photography and video.
Huawei nova 9 Pro counts with as much storage capacity for apps and games as the Huawei P40 lite 5G one, both of them have equal internal memory capacity. Huawei nova 9 Pro features a battery lifetime that's very similar to the Huawei P40 lite 5G one.
