Huawei P40 lite 5G has a general score of 83.4, which is just a bit better than the LG G8S ThinQ's 82.5 general score. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 lite 5G has the older 10 version and LG G8S ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Huawei P40 lite 5G body is newer, but a little heavier and just a bit thicker than LG G8S ThinQ.
LG G8S ThinQ counts with just a bit better display than Huawei P40 lite 5G, although it has a quite smaller screen, a just a bit inferior pixels amount in each inch in the screen and a little bit lower 1080 x 2248 resolution. The LG G8S ThinQ has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40 lite 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.
The LG G8S ThinQ counts with a bit superior CPU than Huawei P40 lite 5G. Both have a Octa-Core processor and a 6 GB RAM. The Huawei P40 lite 5G counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. Huawei P40 lite 5G has a much better camera than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same camera aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also counts with a camera with a much higher 64 MP resolution.
