Comparison review
Huawei P40 lite 5G is a bit better than LG G8X ThinQ, having a score of 83.4 against 82.7. Both of these phones include the same Android 10 OS (Operating System). Although Huawei P40 lite 5G and LG G8X ThinQ were released only a few months apart, Huawei P40 lite 5G's construction is just a bit lighter but a bit thicker.
The LG G8X ThinQ counts with a little sharper screen than Huawei P40 lite 5G, although it has a bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, a bit smaller display and a bit lower pixel density. The LG G8X ThinQ features a lot bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei P40 lite 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG G8X ThinQ also has an external memory card slot that holds up to 1,95 TB.
LG G8X ThinQ features a bit faster CPU than Huawei P40 lite 5G. Both have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core CPU. LG G8X ThinQ's battery lifetime is just as good as Huawei P40 lite 5G's battery duration. The Huawei P40 lite 5G shoots much clearer pictures and videos than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has worse 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture and the same video quality, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also counts with a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels.
