Comparison review
The Motorola Edge 20 is just a bit better than the Huawei P40 lite 5G, with a general score of 86.1 against 83.4. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Edge 20 has 11 version and Huawei P40 lite 5G has Android 10, counting with some nice extra features. Motorola Edge 20 is a newer phone, and it is also somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than Huawei P40 lite 5G.
The Huawei P40 lite 5G and the Motorola Edge 20 have quite similar screens, because although the Motorola Edge 20 has a bit lower number of pixels per display inch, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels, it also counts with a little bigger screen. Motorola Edge 20 counts with as much storage capacity for games and applications as Huawei P40 lite 5G, both have equal 128 GB internal memory.
Motorola Edge 20 has a little faster processing unit than Huawei P40 lite 5G, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Motorola Edge 20 also has a higher amount of RAM. Motorola Edge 20's battery lifetime is just as good as Huawei P40 lite 5G's battery lifetime. Motorola Edge 20 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Huawei P40 lite 5G, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low light images and video, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Edge 20 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution.
