Comparison review
The Huawei P40 lite 5G is slightly better than the Moto G8 Plus, getting an 83.4 score against 77.6. Huawei P40 lite 5G's construction is a little heavier but a little bit thinner than the Moto G8 Plus, and they were released only a couple of months apart. The Huawei P40 lite 5G has just a bit better looking screen than Moto G8 Plus, because it has a quite bigger screen, a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a bit more pixels per display inch.
The Huawei P40 lite 5G counts with a bit better CPU than Moto G8 Plus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also has 2 GB more RAM. Motorola Moto G8 Plus has more memory for games and applications than Huawei P40 lite 5G, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
The Motorola Moto G8 Plus captures clearer photographs and videos than Huawei P40 lite 5G, because although it has a much less megapixels resolution camera in the back and a lower 3840x2160 video definition, it also counts with a larger diafragm aperture. The Moto G8 Plus counts with a battery life that is just as good as the Huawei P40 lite 5G one.
