Comparison review
The Galaxy A50 is a bit better than the Huawei P40 lite 5G, getting a global score of 83.8 against 83.4. Galaxy A50's construction is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Huawei P40 lite 5G, although it was released only 15 months before. The Galaxy A50 and Huawei P40 lite 5G have incredibly similar displays, although the Galaxy A50 has a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a little smaller screen and a quite inferior pixel count in each inch of screen.
Galaxy A50 features a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40 lite 5G, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A50 also has a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei P40 lite 5G features just a bit better performance than Galaxy A50, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also has more RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy A50's battery duration is very similar to the Huawei P40 lite 5G one. Huawei P40 lite 5G has a much better camera than Galaxy A50, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for taking photos in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a camera with a lot higher resolution and a lot better video resolution.
