Sony Xperia 1 II has an overall score of 91, which is just a bit better than Huawei P40 lite 5G's overall score of 83.4. Both devices in this review include Android OS, but Sony Xperia 1 II has 11 version and Huawei P40 lite 5G has Android 10 version, so it provides you a couple nice extra features and better performance. Sony Xperia 1 II's body is just a little thinner and just a bit lighter than Huawei P40 lite 5G, even though both of them were released only 1 months apart.
The Xperia 1 II features a better display than Huawei P40 lite 5G, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Xperia 1 II also has a lot better 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a way greater pixel amount per display inch. Sony Xperia 1 II features a superior storage to install applications and games than Huawei P40 lite 5G, because it has 256 GB internal storage and a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Xperia 1 II counts with a little better hardware performance than Huawei P40 lite 5G, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 1 II also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Huawei P40 lite 5G and the Sony Xperia 1 II count with incredibly similar batteries duration.
