Comparison review
Huawei P40 lite 5G has a general score of 83.4, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's score of 77.7. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but the Huawei P40 lite 5G has older 10 version while Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has Android 8.1 Oreo version. The Huawei P40 lite 5G construction is somewhat thicker and heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and Huawei P40 lite 5G have similar screens, although the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a bit smaller screen, a quite lower 1080 x 2280 resolution and a bit lower screen density. Huawei P40 lite 5G features just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite. Both have a Octa-Core processing unit and the same RAM memory amount.
Huawei P40 lite 5G captures much clearer photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P40 lite 5G also has a camera with way more mega-pixels and a larger camera aperture to take better photos and videos in low light situations.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite features as much memory capacity to install applications and games as the Huawei P40 lite 5G one, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory. Huawei P40 lite 5G counts with greater battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
