Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 12 Pro has a general score of 92.8, which is better than the Huawei P40 Lite's 79.5 overall score. Even though the Apple iPhone 12 Pro and the Huawei P40 Lite were released with only a couple months difference, Apple iPhone 12 Pro's design is thinner but also a little bit heavier. The Apple iPhone 12 Pro has iOS 15.x OS, while Huawei P40 Lite works with Android 10 OS.
The iPhone 12 Pro has a more powerful processor than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has 2 lesser processing cores (but faster), and they both have the same RAM memory amount, the iPhone 12 Pro also counts with a 64-bits CPU. The iPhone 12 Pro has a better looking screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little greater screen pixel density and a quite better 1170 x 2532px resolution.
The Huawei P40 Lite counts with a slightly better camera than iPhone 12 Pro, because although it has worse 30 fps video frame rate and a smaller aperture which is not so good for low light images and videos, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a camera in the back with a way higher resolution.
IPhone 12 Pro counts with as much storage capacity for applications and games as the Huawei P40 Lite, both have equal 128 GB internal storage. Huawei P40 Lite has a way better battery performance than Apple iPhone 12 Pro, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 2815mAh.
Although iPhone 12 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P40 Lite. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy iPhone 12 Pro, else you can save some dollars and get the Huawei P40 Lite, letting go a couple specifications.
