Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 is a bit better than Huawei P40 Lite, with a 79.5 score against 79.5. Although Asus ROG Phone 8 is noticeably newer than the Huawei P40 Lite, it is heavier and just a bit thicker. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 has 14 version while Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version, so it gives a couple nice extra features.
Huawei P40 Lite counts with a much greater hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a better display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a quite lower amount of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 and a little bit larger screen.
