Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4 XL has a score of 82.9, which is slightly better than the Huawei P40 Lite's global score of 79.5. Although Google Pixel 4 XL and the Huawei P40 Lite were only released with a couple months difference, Google Pixel 4 XL's body is a bit thinner but also a little bit heavier than the Huawei P40 Lite.
Google Pixel 4 XL has a bit more powerful processor than Huawei P40 Lite. They have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a little more vivid screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per screen inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 3040.
Huawei P40 Lite features a lot bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei P40 Lite captures much clearer photos and videos than Google Pixel 4 XL, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for taking images in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a much more megapixels back facing camera and a way larger back camera sensor.
The Huawei P40 Lite has a bit superior battery lifetime than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has a 14% more battery size.
Although Google Pixel 4 XL is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei P40 Lite. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Huawei P40 Lite, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
