Comparison review
Huawei P40 Lite is a little bit better than the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, getting a score of 79.5 against 79.2. Huawei P40 Lite's body is noticeably newer than Huawei Mate 10 Pro's, although it's just a bit thicker and a bit heavier. Huawei Mate 10 Pro features a display that is very similar to Huawei P40 Lite's screen, because although the Huawei Mate 10 Pro has a little lower 1080 x 2160 resolution and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little better pixels quantity per display inch.
Huawei Mate 10 Pro counts with a little faster processor than Huawei P40 Lite. Both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount. Huawei P40 Lite takes much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for low-light photos and video, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video resolution, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a back camera with a much higher 48 mega pixels resolution and a much bigger camera sensor which provides a lot higher image and video quality.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Huawei P40 Lite have very similar storage for games and applications, both of them have the same 128 GB internal memory. Huawei P40 Lite has just a little bit longer battery duration than Huawei Mate 10 Pro, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity.
