Comparison review
Huawei Mate X2 has an overall score of 89.1, which is much better than Huawei P40 Lite's score of 79.5. Both phones in this comparison work with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System). The Huawei Mate X2 body is newer and a bit thinner, but a lot heavier than Huawei P40 Lite. Huawei Mate X2 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate X2 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Huawei Mate X2 has a bit sharper display than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a just a bit greater pixel amount in each inch in the display, a much higher resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels and a larger display. The Huawei Mate X2 features a bit better camera than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for low light captures and videos, it also counts with a camera in the back with a higher resolution and a much better video resolution.
Huawei Mate X2 counts with a much bigger memory for games and applications than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate X2 has a little better battery life than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 4200mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P40 Lite. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Huawei Mate X2, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P40 Lite, letting go some specs and features.
