Comparison review
Huawei P40 Lite is slightly better than the Huawei P smart S, having a global score of 79.5 against 77.2. Both phones in our current comparison use the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding that. The Huawei P40 Lite is a just a little thicker and heavier device than the Huawei P smart S.
Huawei P40 Lite and Huawei P smart S feature incredibly similar displays, because although the Huawei P smart S has a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2400px and a just a little higher quantity of pixels in each inch of display. Huawei P40 Lite features just a little better performance than Huawei P smart S, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Huawei P smart S features a lot bigger storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Huawei P smart S also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Huawei P40 Lite features just a bit better battery performance than Huawei P smart S, because it has a 5% more battery capacity.
Huawei P40 Lite captures much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei P smart S. Both of them have a F1.8 aperture and the same resolution back facing camera.
