Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Lite is a little bit better than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), getting a score of 79.5 against 76.5. Despite being the best in our current comparison, Huawei P40 Lite's design is just a bit thicker and just a little heavier than the Huawei P20 Lite (2019). These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 Lite has an older 10 version while Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Huawei P40 Lite has just a bit better performance than Huawei P20 Lite (2019), and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a greater amount of RAM. The Huawei P40 Lite counts with a slightly better display than Huawei P20 Lite (2019). Both of them have a screen with the same size, exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 2310px and the same display density.
Huawei P20 Lite (2019) has a way bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Huawei P20 Lite (2019) also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
