Comparison review
The Huawei P30 is a bit better than the Huawei P40 Lite, with a score of 81.7 against 79.5. Even though Huawei P30 is older than Huawei P40 Lite, it's body is a bit lighter and somewhat thinner. Both of these devices include the same Android 10 OS (operating system). The Huawei P30 has a bit faster CPU than Huawei P40 Lite. Both have a 6 GB RAM memory and a Octa-Core CPU.
The Huawei P30 counts with a slightly better screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution and a just a bit greater pixels amount in each display inch. The Huawei P30 features as much storage for games and applications as Huawei P40 Lite, they have equal internal memory capacity.
The Huawei P40 Lite has a little better battery lifetime than Huawei P30, because it has a 15 percent larger battery capacity. The Huawei P30 takes clearer videos and photos than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a less MP back camera, and they both have a F1.8 camera aperture, the Huawei P30 also counts with a bigger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a much better (4K) video definition.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Huawei P40 Lite. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei P30, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei P40 Lite, letting go some specifications.
