The LG G8 ThinQ is an older phone than the Huawei P40 Lite, but LG made it just a little thinner and just a bit lighter anyway. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but the LG G8 ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version, providing you a couple nice extra features.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a sharper display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a greater number of pixels per inch in the screen and a better resolution of 1440 x 3120. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit faster processing unit than Huawei P40 Lite. Both have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores.

Huawei P40 Lite counts with a slightly better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same video definition, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a lot larger back camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photographs.

The LG G8 ThinQ has a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
