The LG G8S ThinQ has a general score of 82.5, which is a little bit better than Huawei P40 Lite's overall score of 79.5. Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but LG G8S ThinQ has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version. The LG G8S ThinQ body is a little lighter and a little bit thinner than Huawei P40 Lite, although both were released only a couple months apart.
LG G8S ThinQ counts with a slightly better screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2248 and a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit better pixel count in each screen inch. LG G8S ThinQ has a lot bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the LG G8S ThinQ also has a SD card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
The LG G8S ThinQ features a bit better CPU than Huawei P40 Lite. Both of them have a 6 GB RAM and 8 cpu cores. Huawei P40 Lite features improved battery duration than LG G8S ThinQ, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity. Huawei P40 Lite shoots slightly better photos and videos than LG G8S ThinQ, because although it has worse video frame rates, and they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and a F1.8 aperture, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
