Comparison review
The LG Velvet is slightly better than Huawei P40 Lite, having an 87.1 score against 79.5. LG Velvet's construction is a little thinner and a little lighter than the Huawei P40 Lite, even when they were released only 2 months apart. LG Velvet counts with a bit superior CPU than Huawei P40 Lite. Both have a 6 GB RAM and a Octa-Core processor.
LG Velvet has a display that is very similar to Huawei P40 Lite's display, because although the LG Velvet has a little bit lower screen pixel density, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2460 resolution and a little bit bigger display. The LG Velvet features a little bit better camera than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, a 48 megapixels camera and a 0.5 inches sensor, the LG Velvet also has a lot better 3840x2160 video definition.
LG Velvet features a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the LG Velvet also has an external memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG Velvet features just a bit better battery life than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 2% greater battery size.
LG Velvet costs a bit more money than Huawei P40 Lite, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
