Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is just a bit better than the Huawei P40 Lite, with a score of 85.3 against 79.5. These phones use Android operating system, but the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 has 11 version and Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10, providing lots of additional features and improved performance. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 design is newer and thinner than the Huawei P40 Lite's, although it's also a lot heavier.
Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a bit better screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little worse screen pixel density, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1892 x 2688px and a bigger display. The Microsoft Surface Duo 2 counts with a bit better processing unit than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Huawei P40 Lite and the Microsoft Surface Duo 2 feature extremely similar memory capacity for games and applications, they have equal internal memory capacity. Microsoft Surface Duo 2 features a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 4449mAh of battery capacity instead of 4200mAh.
The Huawei P40 Lite has a slightly better camera than Microsoft Surface Duo 2, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light photography and lower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a much more megapixels camera.
Although Microsoft Surface Duo 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P40 Lite. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Huawei P40 Lite, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
