The Huawei P40 Lite is just a bit better than Moto G6 Plus, with a 79.5 score against 77.5. Huawei P40 Lite's construction is newer, but just a little bit thicker and just a little bit heavier than Moto G6 Plus. Motorola Moto G6 Plus has a screen that is very similar to Huawei P40 Lite's display, because although the Motorola Moto G6 Plus has a little bit lower 1080 x 2160 resolution and a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit higher screen pixel density.
The Moto G6 Plus's CPU is very similar to Huawei P40 Lite's CPU, both of them have the same number of cores and a 6 GB RAM. The Huawei P40 Lite takes much clearer photos and videos than Moto G6 Plus, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and/or video in low light environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same video quality, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a back-facing camera with a way better resolution and a way bigger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality.

Huawei P40 Lite features improved battery life than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
