Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a score of 97.6, which is way better than Huawei P40 Lite's 79.5 score. Samsung Galaxy Fold's construction is incredibly heavier but way thinner than the Huawei P40 Lite, and both of them were only released 5 months apart. Both phones we compare here work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy Fold has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version.
Galaxy Fold counts with a bit superior CPU than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Galaxy Fold also has more RAM memory. Huawei P40 Lite has just a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2310 pixels and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit better pixel density.
Samsung Galaxy Fold features a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has more internal memory. The Huawei P40 Lite has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for shooting images and videos in low-light environments and slower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a lot larger sensor which provides a much better image and video quality and a camera in the back with a way better resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a bit longer battery performance than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 4 percent bigger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P40 Lite. If you want to save some money, you can get the Huawei P40 Lite, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
