Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M30 is slightly better than the Huawei P40 Lite, getting a global score of 82.4 against 79.5. Even though Samsung Galaxy M30 is older than the Huawei P40 Lite, it's design is just a little lighter and a little thinner. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy M30 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10, providing you some nice extra features.
Huawei P40 Lite has just a bit better looking display than Galaxy M30, and although they both have a same size screen, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a little higher 1080 x 2310 resolution and a just a little higher pixel amount per screen inch. Huawei P40 Lite features a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M30. They have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores.
The Galaxy M30 counts with a very superior storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Galaxy M30 also has a SD memory slot that supports up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M30 features better battery duration than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 19 percent more battery capacity.
The Huawei P40 Lite shoots better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy M30, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a larger aperture to take better low light photos and videos, a back facing camera with much more mega pixels and a much larger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
