Comparison review
The Galaxy M40 is slightly better than Huawei P40 Lite, having a overall score of 85 against 79.5. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so they should give very similar OS features. Even though the Galaxy M40 and the Huawei P40 Lite were only released 9 months apart, the Galaxy M40 is just a little lighter and a bit thinner.
Samsung Galaxy M40 has a display that's just as good as Huawei P40 Lite's display, because although the Samsung Galaxy M40 has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a just a little greater pixels density. The Huawei P40 Lite counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M40. They have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
Huawei P40 Lite has just a bit better camera than Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for shooting photographs or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rate, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a way larger back-facing camera sensor taking way higher quality videos and photographs and a camera in the back with a lot higher 48 mega pixels resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 counts with a superior storage for games and applications than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Huawei P40 Lite has better battery life than Galaxy M40, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
