Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a global score of 81.2, which is a bit better than the Huawei P40 Lite's 79.5 score. Both devices we are comparing here include Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has the older 5.0 version and Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is incredibly older than the Huawei P40 Lite, it's body is just a little bit thinner and just a little lighter.
Galaxy Note 3's CPU is very similar to the CPU in Huawei P40 Lite, because although the Galaxy Note 3 has 3 GB less RAM and a lower number of cores (although faster), it also counts with an additional GPU. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a bit sharper screen than Huawei P40 Lite, although it has a quite inferior pixel quantity in each display inch, a bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a bit smaller screen.
Huawei P40 Lite has a superior camera than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a bigger aperture for better low light captures and video, a much more megapixels back facing camera and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
Huawei P40 Lite counts with just a bit more storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. The Huawei P40 Lite features improved battery duration than Galaxy Note 3, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 costs a bit more than the Huawei P40 Lite, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
