The Huawei P40 Lite has an overall score of 79.5, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note 5's 79.3 global score. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Huawei P40 Lite has the newer 10 version and Galaxy Note 5 has Android 5.1, so it offers some extra features and some performance improvements. Huawei P40 Lite's construction is newer than the Galaxy Note 5's, but it is a little heavier and thicker.
Galaxy Note 5 features a sharper display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher display density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Huawei P40 Lite features a very superior storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei P40 Lite counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Galaxy Note 5, because it has 2 GB more RAM memory and more cpu cores. The Huawei P40 Lite features a much longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity. The Huawei P40 Lite captures slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a much larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a camera with way more mega-pixels and a larger aperture for better low light captures and videos.
Despite of being the best phone in this comparison, the Huawei P40 Lite is also a bargain compared to others, which makes it a great choice.
