Comparison review
Huawei P40 Lite is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, with a 79.5 score against 77.8. Both phones we are comparing use Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei P40 Lite has the previous 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2 version. Huawei P40 Lite's body is noticeably newer and just a little bit thinner, but heavier than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport.
Galaxy S5 Sport has a much better screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little bit worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a much smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit better pixel count in each inch in the screen. Huawei P40 Lite has a much better storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy S5 Sport, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport counts with a bit better performance than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster) and 4 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Huawei P40 Lite features a superior battery performance than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity instead of 2800mAh.
Huawei P40 Lite takes much better pictures and videos than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a larger diafragm aperture to take better photography and videos in low-light situations, a back camera with a lot better 48 megapixels resolution and a way bigger sensor capturing lot better quality photographs and videos.
Even being the best phone in this comparison, the Huawei P40 Lite is also a bargain compared to the other phones.
