Comparison review
Huawei P40 Lite has a score of 79.5, which is slightly better than Galaxy XCover 5's score of 78.1. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P40 Lite has 10 version and Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11. Despite of the fact the Huawei P40 Lite is older and just a little bit heavier than the Galaxy XCover 5, it's construction is still a little thinner.
Huawei P40 Lite has a bit better looking display than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot better 1080 x 2310 resolution, a higher amount of pixels per inch in the screen and a bigger display. The Huawei P40 Lite features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Galaxy XCover 5 has a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1 TB. The Huawei P40 Lite counts with a better camera than Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and a F1.8 aperture, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a camera in the back with a much higher resolution.
Huawei P40 Lite has a way better battery performance than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
