Galaxy XCover FieldPro has an overall score of 80.1, which is slightly better than Huawei P40 Lite's global score of 79.5. The Galaxy XCover FieldPro construction is much heavier and thicker than the Huawei P40 Lite. Both of these devices include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy XCover FieldPro has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10.
Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a little better hardware performance than Huawei P40 Lite, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Galaxy XCover FieldPro has a slightly better looking screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a better display pixel density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 2560px.
Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a better storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has 0 less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 512 GB. The Huawei P40 Lite features a lot better camera than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a much larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.

Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei P40 Lite. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy Huawei P40 Lite, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
