Galaxy Z Flip has a score of 88.5, which is better than Huawei P40 Lite's general score of 79.5. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Galaxy Z Flip has a newer 12 version and Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version, giving you lots of additional features. Galaxy Z Flip is a somewhat thinner device than Huawei P40 Lite, but they have the same weight.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip counts with a slightly better looking display than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a slightly better 1080 x 2636 resolution, a quite bigger display and a quite higher pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a little bit better performance than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip also has more RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip features a much greater memory to install applications and games than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 128 GB more internal memory. Huawei P40 Lite features better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity. The Huawei P40 Lite has a slightly better camera than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has slower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have a same size camera aperture and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a much more mega pixels camera and a way bigger back camera sensor taking way better quality pictures and videos.

If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Huawei P40 Lite, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
