Comparison review
Galaxy Z Fold 2 is better than the Huawei P40 Lite, with a general score of 94.6 against 79.5. Even though Galaxy Z Fold 2 and the Huawei P40 Lite were released with only a few months difference, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 body is incredibly thinner but heavier. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Z Fold 2 has 11 version while Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10, so it provides some additional features.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a screen that is very similar to the Huawei P40 Lite one, because although the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a little worse display pixels density, it also counts with a better 1768 x 2208px resolution and a bigger screen. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit more powerful processor than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has more RAM memory.
Huawei P40 Lite features a slightly better camera than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate and a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting lower quality photographs, and they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution and a same size camera aperture, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a camera in the back with much more mega pixels.
Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a very superior storage for applications and games than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 128 GB more internal memory. Galaxy Z Fold 2 counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 7% more battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei P40 Lite. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Huawei P40 Lite, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
