Comparison review
The Xperia 1 II is much better than the Huawei P40 Lite, having a global score of 91 against 79.5. Both of these devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia 1 II has the newer 11 version while Huawei P40 Lite has Android 10 version. Xperia 1 II's body is a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Huawei P40 Lite, although both were released with only a couple months difference.
The Sony Xperia 1 II counts with just a little better processing power than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Sony Xperia 1 II also has more RAM memory. Xperia 1 II has a brighter display than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a much higher number of pixels per inch of display, a little bit larger display and a lot better 1644 x 3840 resolution.
Huawei P40 Lite shoots clearer photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 1 II, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for capturing photos in low-light situations, a smaller camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and photographs and lower 30 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a much more megapixels back camera.
Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1000 GB and 128 GB more internal memory. The Huawei P40 Lite counts with a bit better battery duration than Sony Xperia 1 II, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity.
