Huawei P40 Lite has an overall score of 79.5, which is slightly better than the Xperia 10 II's general score of 78.5. These phones come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System). Even being the best in this comparison review, Huawei P40 Lite is an a little thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone than Xperia 10 II.
Sony Xperia 10 II counts with a little sharper screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2520 pixels and a little higher screen density. Huawei P40 Lite has a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia 10 II, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Huawei P40 Lite also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Huawei P40 Lite captures much clearer photos and videos than Sony Xperia 10 II, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a lot higher resolution back facing camera, a larger diafragm aperture to capture better photography and videos in low-light environments and a lot larger back camera sensor.
The Sony Xperia 10 II counts with a much greater memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P40 Lite, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia 10 II also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB.
