Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Lite is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, with a 79.5 score against 78.1. Huawei P40 Lite is a way newer cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, but it's just a little heavier and a bit thicker. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P40 Lite has an older 10 version and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Huawei P40 Lite features a bit superior processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Huawei P40 Lite also has more processing cores. Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus has a slightly better display than Huawei P40 Lite, although it has a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution, a quite smaller screen and a just a little lower pixels amount per inch of screen.
Huawei P40 Lite captures much clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Huawei P40 Lite also has a lot larger back camera sensor shooting much higher quality videos and photographs, a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and a larger camera aperture for better captures and videos in low light situations.
Huawei P40 Lite and Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus count with similar storage capacity to store more apps and games, both of them have exactly the same internal storage capacity. The Huawei P40 Lite counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, because it has an 11% more battery capacity.
