Comparison review
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 has a general score of 83.7, which is slightly better than Huawei P40 Lite's 79.5 overall score. Xiaomi Mi Note 10's design is somewhat thicker and heavier than Huawei P40 Lite. Both of these devices come with the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding that.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 has a bit sharper display than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a just a bit worse display pixels density, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a little bit bigger display. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Huawei P40 Lite have extremely similar memory capacity for apps and games, they have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Huawei P40 Lite both feature similar processing units, they have 8 processing cores and the same RAM amount. Xiaomi Mi Note 10 features improved battery performance than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has 5260mAh of battery capacity. Xiaomi Mi Note 10 takes much better pictures and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a lot bigger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality, a bigger aperture, a much better 3840x2160 video resolution and a lot more mega pixels back camera.
Although Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei P40 Lite. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Huawei P40 Lite, and give up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
