Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Lite has a general score of 79.5, which is just a bit better than Xiaomi Poco M3's overall score of 78.2. The Huawei P40 Lite body is a little bit lighter and thinner than Xiaomi Poco M3, although it was released just 9 months before. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any differences in that aspect.
Huawei P40 Lite features a little better hardware performance than Xiaomi Poco M3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P40 Lite also has 2 GB more RAM memory. The Huawei P40 Lite features a little sharper display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a quite smaller display and a bit lower 1080 x 2310px resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per display inch.
Xiaomi Poco M3 has a greater storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Poco M3 has a much better battery lifetime than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
