Comparison review
Huawei P40 Pro is much better than the Asus ROG Phone 8, getting a overall score of 88.2 against 79.5. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Huawei P40 Pro has the older 10 version while Asus ROG Phone 8 has Android 14. The Huawei P40 Pro construction has the same thickness than the Asus ROG Phone 8, but it's just a little bit lighter.
The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a much faster processor than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor. The Asus ROG Phone 8 has a much better screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a little worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a just a little less pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a little larger display.
The Huawei P40 Pro shoots slightly better videos and photos than Asus ROG Phone 8, and although they both have a F1.9 camera aperture, a same resolution camera in the back and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a larger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photographs and better video frame rate.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has much more storage to install applications and games than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 128 GB more internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features improved battery life than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity against 4200mAh.
