Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro has a general score of 88.2, which is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip's 85.5 global score. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but Huawei P40 Pro has the older 10 version and Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has Android 11 version. Even though the Huawei P40 Pro is older than Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, it's design is just a little lighter and a bit thinner.
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip features a bit sharper screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a quite lower pixels density, it also counts with a little bit bigger display. The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip's processing unit is just as good as Huawei P40 Pro's processing unit, both have a 8 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
The Huawei P40 Pro has a slightly better camera than Asus ZenFone 8 Flip, because although it has a back facing camera with lot less megapixels resolution, a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing pictures and videos in poorly lited environments and a way worse video resolution, it also counts with a much larger back camera sensor taking lot better quality photographs and videos.
The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip features a very superior memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage, the Asus ZenFone 8 Flip also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 2 TB. The Asus ZenFone 8 Flip has improved battery lifetime than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 19% more battery size.
