Comparison review
The Huawei P40 Pro is much better than the Huawei P smart S, getting an 88.2 score against 77.2. Even being the best cellphone we are comparing, Huawei P40 Pro is a thicker and notably heavier cellphone than Huawei P smart S. These phones work with the same Android 10 operating system. The Huawei P40 Pro features a little bit better screen than Huawei P smart S, because it has a just a bit better display pixel density, a quite bigger display and a slightly higher 1200 x 2640 pixels resolution.
Huawei P smart S has a much better memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have the same internal memory capacity, the Huawei P smart S also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with a bit superior processing unit than Huawei P smart S, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 Pro also has 4 GB more RAM.
The Huawei P40 Pro shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Huawei P smart S, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking photographs and/or video in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a camera with a higher resolution. The Huawei P40 Pro features a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei P smart S, because it has a 5 percent larger battery size.
