Huawei P40 Pro is just a bit better than the Huawei P20 Pro, having an 88.2 score against 81.4. These phones work with the same Android 10 OS. The Huawei P40 Pro is a incredibly newer cellphone than Huawei P20 Pro, although it's heavier and thicker. Huawei P40 Pro features a bit more powerful processing unit than Huawei P20 Pro, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
Huawei P40 Pro has a bit sharper screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has a little bigger display, a slightly higher resolution of 1200 x 2640 and a just a little higher pixels density. Huawei P40 Pro has a bit better camera than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for capturing pictures or videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same video definition, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a back camera with more mega-pixels, a way bigger camera sensor and better video frame rate.
