The Huawei P40 Pro is much better than Huawei P50E, getting a overall score of 88.2 against 79.3. Even being the best phone in this review, we must highlight that it is also older, somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. The Huawei P40 Pro counts with Android 10 OS, and Huawei P50E works with HarmonyOS 2 OS.
Huawei P40 Pro features a bit better processing unit than Huawei P50E. They have 8 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. Huawei P50E features a screen that is just as good as the Huawei P40 Pro one, because although the Huawei P50E has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1224 x 2700px resolution and a just a little better screen density.
The Huawei P40 Pro takes much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei P50E, although it has a smaller aperture, they both have a same resolution back camera. Huawei P40 Pro and Huawei P50E count with really similar storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos, both have the same 128 GB internal storage.
The Huawei P40 Pro features just a bit longer battery life than Huawei P50E, because it has a 2 percent greater battery capacity.
