The Huawei P40 Pro has an overall score of 88.2, which is just a bit better than LG G8 ThinQ's overall score of 84.3. Huawei P40 Pro's construction is newer than the LG G8 ThinQ's, although it is incredibly heavier and just a little thicker. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but Huawei P40 Pro has 10 version and LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie.

LG G8 ThinQ features a more vivid screen than Huawei P40 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a greater screen pixels density and a higher resolution of 1440 x 3120. The LG G8 ThinQ features a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, and although they both have equal internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
