Comparison review
The Motorola edge is slightly better than Huawei P40 Pro, having an 89.6 score against 88.2. These phones come with the same Android 10 OS (operating system), so both of them should provide the user very similar operating system features. Even though the Motorola edge and the Huawei P40 Pro were only released with a couple of months difference, Motorola edge's construction is lighter but also just a little thicker.
Huawei P40 Pro counts with a bit superior CPU than Motorola edge, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a greater amount of RAM. Huawei P40 Pro features a little bit better display than Motorola edge, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better screen pixels density and a slightly higher resolution of 1200 x 2640px.
The Huawei P40 Pro features a little bit better camera than Motorola edge, because although it has a camera with a lot lower resolution, a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing pictures and/or video in low-light situations, it also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor taking lot better quality pictures.
Motorola edge features a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. Motorola edge features just a bit better battery life than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 7% greater battery size.
